Mountain Bike Oregon

The Oakridge area is known as the “Mountain Bike Capital of the Northwest” and serves as one of Oregon’s centers of outdoor recreation. Mountain biking is a big part of the culture in this area, which has an unparalleled system of mountain biking trails.  Ride among the old-growth trees and alongside pristine rivers and lakes, and soak in the great views of the Cascades on every ride. The dense network of trails on public lands here in the Oakridge area is truly special, with hundreds of miles of single-track on dozens of well-maintained trails.

Twice a year, Mountain Bike Oregon features three days of unbelievable single-track riding, with numerous supported ride options that leave directly from camp stationed on the Willamette River.  Riders come from all over the U.S. to attend the event; in a recent year riders from 33 states and 7 countries participated in the event.  Riders are provided with three meals a day, free Oregon microbrew beer, demo bikes, clinics, free maintenance, contests and more.
