Brewers Union Local 180

The Brewers Union Local 180 is Oregon’s only real ale pub and brewery.  They offer up to six cask-conditioned ales that are brewed on-site, as well as numerous regional microbrews, wines and hard ciders.  Food is top-notch and is prepared to order.  House specialties include themed nightly specials, homemade breads, hand-slapped 1/2-pound burgers (the Royale with Cheese!), and a Sunday Night Roast.  Other activities include Scrabble Night, live local music and Open Mic Nights.

A former logging and mill town, Oakridge is an up-and-coming outdoor recreation mecca.  The Brewers Union’s owners, Ted and Patti Sobel, are long-time local residents that have seen the town change over the years and know what great things has to offer.  The Pub offers a comfortable, friendly atmosphere, and is a showcase for their own unique beers, local musicians and artists.  The staff are are local and are very knowledgeable of local attractions, be it trails for hiking or mountain biking, where to stay, or where to camp.  Locals and visitors to the area are equally welcome as well as families (minors are allowed until 9 pm).
