Waldo Lake is one of the clearest lakes in the world, with visibility reaching depths beyond 100 feet.  Waldo Lake and the surrounding area provide hiking, camping, backpacking, mountain biking, sailing, kayaking, canoeing, horse-trail riding and cross-country/snowshoeing activities. Waldo Lake Wilderness provides untouched forest environment activities, with plenty of trails, lakes and mountains in the area to explore.
