Tumalo Farms

Tucked in the triangle of Bend, Sisters and Redmond, Tumalo Farms is 84 acres of lush land with a beautiful backdrop of the Cascade Mountain Range. The high-desert climate offers crisp alpine-like air and a wonderful environment for raising goats and making cheese. The owners believe their farm has a unique “sweet spot” and this Central Oregon “terroir” is reflected in their cheeses.

Tumalo Farms provides a unique cheese experience that reflects the blending of art, science and passion in what they do. They raise their own goats, producing high-quality milk and nationally recognized, award-winning cheeses. The working farm employs sustainable farming practices, focusing on the well-being of the animals and the natural harmony of the land.

Some of the cheeses reflect and incorporate other interesting Oregon crops such as hops, and seasonally available hazelnuts and white truffles.
