TrackersNW

TrackersNW started in Portland and has become a Portland staple. Their staff are more than instructors, they are urban hunter-gatherers, urban homesteaders and people who are living a very unique and localized life in the middle of the city. They stem from the true eclectic nature of Portland.

This program is about not only giving back to the land but returning back to it day by day, in a way that is possible for urban dwellers. Many of the classes are for a fee, while some are free and designed to build a community experience in local green spaces and parks. There is always an interesting workshop going on: butchering a buffalo, building a kayak or a summer camp based on Laura Ingalls Wilder.

  • Fee required for some activities
  • Located on both public and private land
