Susan Creek Falls

The trailhead for this scenic waterfall that plunges 50 feet over moss-lined rocks is less than a mile off the North Umpqua Highway. The trail to the falls is an easy hike, and is accessible but challenging for wheelchairs. This is a great place to picnic and take some scenic pictures. Hikers can continue up behind the waterfalls to Indian Mounds.  Here, Indian boys approaching manhood built stone piles, then spent the night in search of a vision from a guardian spirit.
