Surveyor’s Ridge Trail

Cyclists, hikers and equestrians are stewards of this incredible, iconic trail. It offers incredible views of Mt. Hood and the Hood River Valley, plus wildflowers and varied terrain provide a stimulating ride! This trail brings riders and hikers into the National Forest, so that they appreciate the public lands and are compelled to preserve them. Nearby logging on private lands reminds users what it could look like if unprotected.

The trail is accessed at the top end from Forest Road 44, east of Highway 35.
