The fall colors are absolutely spectacular along Skate Creek is line with moss covered rocks and is a favorite among for campers and fishing enthusiasts. Mt. Rainier National Park is very close by and Packwood is famous for its elk and swap meets (held Labor Day and Memorial Day weekends).
