Rasmussen Fruit

Rasmussen Fruit is a family-owned farm in Oregon’s Hood River Valley, a “visitor’s favorite farm since 1963.” The scenery is spectacular, with snowy Mt. Hood and Mt. Adams and a picture-perfect lush valley in between, giving Rasmussens a “down-home” feel that visitors find very relaxing.  This is a true working farm, with fields of berries, vegetables and large u-cut flower garden.  There are special events on some summer weekends, and most weekends in the fall highlight fun for all family members.  It’s great to bring a picnic and eat beside the sunflowers – 60 varieties in all!  Rasmussen Farms has become a tradition for thousands of Northwest families, and in October, national magazines recommend the ”must-see” Pumpkin Funland, the corn maze and acres of u-pick pumpkins.  The hospitality, really fresh fruit, produce and flowers can’t be beat.

Rasmussen Farms is a founding member of the nationally famous Hood River County Fruit Loop, which focuses on an agricultural experience for visitors.  U-pick vegetables, berries and flowers, along with plenty of fresh air and space, revive even the most tired visitor.  Casual visits to farms like Rasmussens remind the public who farmers are and where their food comes from.
