Peter Skene Ogden State Scenic Viewpoint

Peter Skene Ogden is perched at the top of the striking Crooked River Canyon, nine miles north of Redmond on Highway 97. Bring a camera – the views are tremendous. Besides the incredible views, the site features the juxtaposition of a historic bridge alongside a modern bridge, which is also striking. The park’s namesake led a Hudson Bay Company trapping party through the Crooked River Valley in 1825.
