Mount Rainier National Park

Mount Rainier is a regional icon a major destination in the Central Cascades area.  Mount Rainier National Park offers excellent opportunities for scenic drives, hiking, and mountain climbing. Mountain roads provide stunning views and access to a variety of hiking trails and other sites.  Because of seasonal weather, it is always best to plan your driving route ahead of time and check for road closures during your trip.

The National Historic Landmark District of Mt. Rainier preserves the rustic architecture created nearly 100 years ago.  Mount Rainier National Park has an education center that has brought an understanding of the mountain’s resources to hundreds of students in the Puget Sound and around the world.
