Metolius River

The head of the Metolius River is located just off Hwy 20 on the road into Camp Sherman. The river starts here as it gushes out of the hillside full force. The river is beautiful — constantly flowing water that never diminishes, lush forest growth right up to the river, a wonderful trail for walking the river, and one of the best fly-fishing rivers in the country.  There is also a fascinating fish hatchery to visit.
