Ike Kinswa State Park

Endless family fun is available at Ike Kinswa State Park, situated along the shores of Mayfield Lake.  Enjoy camping in private, forested sites, explore the many hiking trails, and discover the boating, fishing and swimming opportunities in this special place.  It is common to see three generations of fishermen in a small boat idly passing the lovely summer weather as they troll around the lake just off shore.  Children play on the sandy beaches in the shallows.  Traditional camping as well as more modern R-V sites co-exist with ease.  It is peaceful and fun and a wonderful way to share time with folks you enjoy being around.

Formed by one of the hyrdro-electric dams on the Cowlitz River, Mayfield Lake has been a playground to generations of outdoor enthusiasts.  Ike Kinswa Park plays a major role in that activity due to its accessibility, size, and water front location.
