Gorge Ride

The Gorge Ride takes participants from the Columbia Gorge Discovery Center, up the Rowena Loops to Rowena Crest, then to Mayerdale Estate, through Mosier and the Mosier Twin Tunnels to the Senator Mark O. Hatfield West Trailhead and return, a total of 38.5 miles.  The views from Rowena Crest and the Mosier Twin Tunnels are fantastic.  The route is along lightly-traveled portions of the Historic Columbia River Highway and the Historic Columbia River Highway State Trail.  Registration through www.hcrh.org .

Information about the Historic  Columbia River Highway and efforts to restore and reconnect the highway is available at the West Trailhead rest stop.  All proceeds from the event benefit the Friends of the Historic Columbia River Highway.
