Gateway Farm

Located on Linn County’s covered bridge tour, Gateway Farm offers a glimpse of alpacas, heritage-breed chickens and small-farm friendliness on the banks of Thomas Creek, one of the best swimming creeks in all of Oregon.

Gateway Farm uses alpacas and other unusual breeds as part of a holistic and sustainable approach to small-acreage farming.  In conjunction with neighbors, the benefits of sutainable farming and land management have demonstrably increased wildlife species in the surrounding valley.  Visitors may see otters, mink, beaver, osprey, bald eagles and a variety of other bird species that have taken up residence or frequent the farm and surrounding area.
