Fish Lake Guard Station

This is not only a beautiful spot in the Cascades, but it also is a very accessible spot along Hwy. 126 that provides excellent recreational opportunites throughout the year.  You can rent out some of the historic cabins year-round and use them as a base camp for cross-country skiing or hiking excursions into the Willamette National Forest and the Mt. Washington Wilderness Area.  The popular McKenzie River Trail nearby also provides quality mountain bike riding and access for anglers and kayakers.  Scuba diving is even surprisingly popular at nearby Clear Lake.
