Bohemia Mining Days

Celebrating the history of gold mining is a tradition in the community of Cottage Grove. The Bohemia Mining Days festival is held the third weekend in July. 2009 marked the 50th anniversary of this event.

The Bohemia Mining Days Parade fills Main Street with spectators of all ages. Every year the town closes down Main Street for mining displays, food booths and live music. There is even an “old time” breakfast atop the Bohemia Saddle, a beautiful drive about 45 minutes out of Cottage Grove.
