Blackberry Jam Festival

This annual family-fun event is held in Lowell, on the Dexter Reservoir overlooking a beautiful, verdant recreation area. The event includes drag boat races on the lake, live music and food venues, art contests and a fishing derby with a prize of $10,000.   The fully restored covered bridge park, interpretive center and fishing area are open to the public 7 days a week. Visitors can enjoy the local fish hatchery, the disc golf course at Dexter Lake Park and camping in the Willamette National Forest just outside the city of Lowell, and Lookout Point Dam offers a great educational guided tour during the festival.
