Belknap Resort and Hot Springs

Visitors have been soaking in the historic Belknap hot springs for more than 100 years. You can bike or hike the popular McKenzie River Trail that runs right pass the resort all the way to Clear Lake, or you can just relax and enjoy all the gardens and trails that wind through the woods on both sides of the McKenzie River at Belknap. You can occasionally catch sight of a bald eagle swooping down to catch a fish.  Belknap Resort has lodge rooms, cabins, RV and tent sites available. In the winter there is skiing, snowshoeing , sledding, and snowmobiling nearby. In the summer you can fish, raft down the McKenzie River, golf, enjoy the gardens, bike, hike or just relax in the sunshine. And if you have time there are beautiful waterfalls not far away.

Belknap Resort helps preserve the historical and environmental heritage of the Upper McKenzie River Valley. This makes it possible for visitors to continue to enjoy the trails, gardens and meadows.  Hikers and bikers who use the private and national forest trails are encouraged to be environmentally sensitive to the surroundings and help maintain the beauty and allure of the region.
