Barlow Trail

Walking the Barlow Trail – seeing the wagon ruts, walking on the trail pioneers used, looking at the scarred trees where they used ropes to lower wagons down hills, and envisioning wagons loaded with what remained of peoples’ lives traveling this route – brings history out of the textbook and into your reality. There is a book that shows where the pioneers camped so you can stand at the actual campsites. It will really give a person more appreciation for what our ancestors did to get out here and settle.
