Architectural Heritage Center

The Architectural Heritage Center (AHC) is located in the the oldest standing commercial building on the east side of the Willamette River. Each year more than 30 education programs and exhibits held there cover topics from Portland history to area architects, and architectural styles.

The AHC is a strong advocate of historic preservation, which is inherently supportive of the environment. The preservation and renovation of existing buildings uses far fewer materials that those needed to build new.
